Solid Cuff

$55.00

The Solid Cuffs are an easy daily favorite. This 10 gauge cuff looks great stacked, mixed with other styles, or solo for a subtler look. Fits 5" - 7" wrists. Available in 14k gold**, 14k gold-filled*, 14k rose gold**, 14k rose gold-filled*, and sterling silver. Nickel free.

*14k Gold Fill has ± 100x more gold than a gold plated item. The gold layer found on 14K GF items is usually 50-100x thicker than what is found on a gold plated item. GF is hard wearing and if looked after like fine jewelry it should last a lifetime.

**14k gold orders will require additional processing time (allow approx. 5 days) and incur additional shipping charge for insurance. Orders will receive follow up email with updated delivery and shipping costs.

Care instructions

Forged and cut brass items have a "living finish" meaning they are unsealed, allowing them to develop a unique patina over time. If you wish to maintain the original bright finish, you can use a jewelry polishing cloth to clean from time to time. I recommend one like Fabulustre. If you've let the patina develop but want to quickly bring it back to original brightness, a product like Brasso (found in most hardware stores and some grocers) works very well and is very fast and inexpensive.

14K Gold-Filled – what is it?

Gold-filled is minimum 5% fine metal cladding over base metal and does not de-laminate or peel like plated or "dipped" products. Nor does it tarnish as readily as silver. Many owners find that they never have to clean gold-filled items at all. However, from time to time your jewelry may become dirty from everyday wear. To clean gold-filled it is best to use mild soap and water. Hot weather and water will not damage the material.

Generally speaking, gold filled is better quality and will have a much longer lasting color than plated jewelry which contains only a scant fraction of gold comparatively.
